erissage is based in Bath, UK - a gorgeous Georgian city in the Southwest ofEngland. Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reknowned for its superb architecture and history as a 2,000-year-old spa town.
The
Romans built and expanded a large temple and bath complex in what was
the Roman town of Aquae Sulis - literally, the waters of [the goddess]
Sulis - between the 1st and 5th centuries AD. The healing waters still
flow, and substantial portions of this sacred spiritual and healing
centre have been excavated and are open to the public. I feel
honoured to carry on - with others in this area - such a long and rich
tradition of healing practice.
